This study is motivated by the high downtime of Tonghue jet dyeing machines, which reduces production efficiency and reliability. The objective of this study is to identify failure causes, analyze downtime levels, and determine appropriate maintenance strategies. The method used is Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), supported by MTBF, MTTR, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) based on historical failure data at PT. Toyobo Manufacturing Indonesia. The results show that failures are dominated by leakage (75 cases) and component wear, particularly in seals, bearings, and packing. Machine T 30-2 has the highest failure frequency (31 cases), while machine T 20-2 has the highest downtime (13,160 minutes). Reliability analysis indicates that machines T 05 and T 30-3 have better performance, whereas T 20-2 and T 30-2 have lower reliability with the highest RPN value of 192. These findings suggest the need for preventive maintenance and improved inspection of critical components to reduce downtime and enhance machine reliability
