Abstract

All types of work certainly have a risk of danger with their respective levels including work in the maintenance section. From the above problems, the research aims to identify hazards, risk assessment, and risk control of hazards at PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Banten Branch using the HIRADC method. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research types. The data in this study were taken from direct observation during the process of implementing industrial practice, which is one month. Then, the data was analysed using the HIRADC Method (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determine Control). The results showed that there were five types of work observed including welding, combustion engine maintenance, cleaning the electrical room, lubrication, and preventive maintenance. The identification results show that the risk level varies from low to high, with the highest risk in work at height. Recommended control measures include the use of PPE, occupational safety training, implementation of lockout-tagout procedures, and installation of fall protection systems. The implementation of these controls is important to minimise work accidents and improve safety in the dock environment.
