Abstrak

The aim of the study to determine the effect of different combinations of Chlorella and shrimp paste feed on the growth rate of the rotifer population (Branchounus plicatilis). The research was conducted from March to May 2023 in the Marine Biota Scientific Conservation Area of the National Research and Innovation Agency Gondol Bali. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A as a control, was only given Chlorella 6.66 x 105 cells/ml treatment B Chlorella 6.66 x 105 cells/ml and shrimp paste 1gr/L. treatment C Chlorella 6.66 x 105 cells/ml and shrimp paste 2gr/L, and treatment D Chlorella 6.66 x 105 cells/ml and shrimp paste 3gr/L. The dose of combination feeding done every 2 days. The parameters analyzed were only the rate of population growth and looking for the best dose. The data is processed using One Way ANOVA with a 95% confidence level and if the results show a significant difference then proceed with the Duncan test. The results showed that the population growth of Rotifera increased by giving a combination of feed with Chlorella plus shrimp paste at a dose of 1gr/L. in treatment B population growth had a peak density of 53 ind/ml with a growth rate of 0.8741 ind/ml/day. So the best shrimp paste dose given for rotifer cultures is 1gr/L.
