Abstract

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is an important document that outlines the procedures for providing public services. This is a measure of the sharpness of officials or employees in providing public services in Karya Makmur Village. This aims to improve the quality of public services based on Good Governance. from this research process, a qualitative approach is used by collecting information/data through direct field research, interviews, and document reviews, including gathering more information about existing practices and issues, identifying public service needs that require SOP, and implementing SOP in public services. The implementation strategy includes the development of strategies that align government policies and community participation in the planning process. This includes fostering transparency, ensuring all public services are provided in accordance with SOP, optimizing services, and making Karya Makmur Village a model for other public service organizations in implementing good governance. The result of this research is that in the design of the SOP for services at the Karya Makmur Village Office, there are 2 (two) procedures for which SOP will be created, namely, Marriage Administration Services and Business Certificate Services. There are several stages involved in the design of the SOP, starting from the needs assessment stage by determining the service procedures deemed important to be created, followed by the SOP creation stage by gathering related information and then designing it according to the guidelines. And finally, conducting a review and socialization by discussing together with the service provider implementers regarding the SOP draft that has been created.
