Analisis Performance Test Engine CT7-9C Pada Pesawat CN235 DI Test Cell PT. Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hasil performance test pada engine turboprop CT7-9C yang digunakan pada pesawat CN235 di fasilitas test cell PT. Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi. Pengujian dilakukan pasca perawatan dan overhaul untuk memastikan semua parameter kinerja, seperti speed, temperatur, putaran, shaft horse power (SHP), fuel flow, dan pressure memenuhi standar manufaktur. Selain itu, efisiensi gearbox dievaluasi dengan membandingkan torsi input-output di berbagai kondisi beban. Seluruh data diuji dan dikoreksi terhadap kondisi atmosfer standar. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai SHP terkoreksi telah memenuhi batas minimal OEM dan temperatur berada dalam limit operasional, menandakan engine memenuhi kriteria acceptance. Efisiensi gearbox juga terbukti optimal, dengan nilai di atas 95% pada power setting utama, sementara nilai terendah terjadi pada idle akibat losses mekanik yang lebih dominan. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi peran desain gear, pelumasan, distribusi beban, dan temperatur pelumas dalam memengaruhi performa dan efisiensi engine. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengujian performa dan efisiensi gearbox sebagai langkah krusial untuk memastikan keandalan dan keselamatan sistem propulsi pesawat, serta mendukung kelangsungan operasional CN235 secara optimal dan aman.
